Born in Rechovot Israel, Izchak moved to Belgium and studied for 10 years at the art academy of Brussels.

For more than 30 years, Izchak has been working with oil paint as well as drawing. Izchak is now exploring various new digital & mix-media.

"While we thought everything was lost, and that the garbage can was about to capture the mater, like a Phoenix, it reborn from its ashes". Izchak plays with light and colors to provide a second life to everyday objects thanks to his limitless imagination.

Whatever the material and its origin, it is used in an anarchic yet carefully studied arrangement. Despite the brutal side of the treatment harmony and softness emerge from his work.

The three-dimensional side of his paintings gives the work a true depth of field that amplifies its presence, presenting a challenge to the viewer's eye, provoking questioning.
